Horrorstör – by Grady Hendrix

Posted on November 18, 2023 by Mark Lieberman

Somewhere in the Internet world, I saw this book and was half curious about it. I mean, horror isn’t my favorite type of genre to read.

So, basically, imagine a store like Ikea, but in the book it’s called Orsk, and everything is a copy of IKEA. Weird names for stuff as well. Somebody, not an employee, has been in the store at night as they leave proof of what they have done. Three employees stay over one night to try to find that somebody, and while they are doing that, two other employees have snuck in as well to film some ghost footage. When I did eventually get to the part of the book, where the action started, it was a bit to grotesque for my taste, but I was already vetted in the book and so close to finishing. I had to know if at the end, what really happened? No spoilers from me.
