I have finally completed reading all the books in the Jesse Stone series. Twenty-one of them for now by 4 different authors, with Mike Lupica as the most recent. One of the main reasons why I started to read these books was that Mike Lupica, a James Patterson coauthor and author on his own front, has written some of the later Jesse Stone books. So, I decided to read the first book and, I really enjoyed it. I was kept in suspense for entire book and couldn’t wait to see what Jesse would do next.
I couldn’t tell the difference between the writing style of Lupica to the styles of the other authors who have written the other Jesse Stone books. I guess, that is a good thing!
Robert B. Parker’s Fool’s Paradise (19)
Robert B. Parker’s Stone’s Throw (20)
Robert B. Parker’s Fallout (21)
For these final three books, and just like all the other books, the plot is the same as a murder or murders happen in Paradise, and Jesse and his team solve it! Don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy them all and can’t wait for the next Jesse Stone book!
One thing I would love to see is more spinoff books from some of the characters in the Jesse Stone realm; Molly Crane, Dix, Crow, Suitcase, and Cole.
There are many books for Sunny Randall, a former police officer and former love interest of Jesse and Spencer, a private investigator. Both are in the Jesse Stone universe, and I do have books number one in my reading pile on my Kindle.
