Listen for the Lie – by Amy Tintera

Posted on March 20, 2024 by Mark Lieberman

This is my 2nd book from the Book of the Month club, and I chose another thriller.

So, the basis for this one is built around a true crime podcast and the host is trying to find out who murdered a girl named Savvy? The prime person suspected is Lucy Chase.

Lucy lives in L.A., but is summoned home to a small town in Texas for her grandmother’s birthday. But, also because, her grandmother knows that the host of the true crime podcast is also in town during that time, and he starts interviewing people and posting podcast updates.

No spoilers will be provided. You will have to read the book to see what happened.

I will tell you I enjoyed the podcast, and was surprised by the ending.
